Older Lithops form clumps of colorful pebbles in their pot, which makes them ideal as an accent piece in your garden. As small and slow-growing plants, they are relatively easy to care for, especially once you get a hang of the routine.  Light: Like other succulents, these plants require bright light to thrive. They can tolerate full sun.  Water: Make sure your plant is in a very well draining soil. Allow your plant to dry out completely in between watering. These do best with under-watering rather than over-watering. Lightly squeeze the plant - when it feels soft, that means it is ready to be watered. If ingested, poisonous to people and pets.
