Available for shipping! Some plants have the uncanny ability to make us scream with excitement every time we see them. Peperomia prostrata are just one of those plants. Maybe it's the cute nickname, String of Turtles, or the adorable tiny leaves that trail effortlessly from all sides. These plants have shallow root systems and can stay root bound for a long time. We recommend keeping them in a smaller container for as long as possible.  Light: Bright but indirect light is best for these. They can burn very easily in direct sun so avoid placing them by a bright window.  Water: Sparingly! We mentioned that these have shallow roots, which mean they are prone to root rot if over watered. Allow your plant to dry out thoroughly in between watering.Humidity: Moderate to low humidity is best. Not poisonous to pets if ingested. Photographs are representative of the species and not always the specific plant shipped. Normal variations in size, pruning and leaf structure may occur.   All plant sales are final.
