Philodendron - Squamiferum "Red Bristle"
Available for shipping! The elusive Philodendron Squamiferum is a bold, but easy-care houseplant. This species features large lobed leaves that can grow to be 18 inches long or more! It's most interesting characteristic is the red fuzzy stems that is covered in coarse hairs that take on a reddish color as they mature, earning it the common name "Red Bristle"Light: Your Philodendron Squamiferum will do best in bright but indirect light. Too much light will discolor those stunning dark leaves. Placing your plant within a few feet of an east or west-facing window is typically a perfect position. These plants can tolerate lower or medium light, but this will slow the growth. Water: An epiphytic or tree-climbing plant, the Philodendron Squamiferum wants a well-draining potting mix. Allow the soil to dry at least halfway down in the pot between waterings to avoid over-saturation.Humidity: Moderate humidity is best for Philodendron growth. We suggest adding a humidifier to your plant care
