CAMP Speed Comp Helmet

Camp's Speed 2.0 helmets were seen everywhere last year, from the race circuit to the backcountry. It's lightweight and comfortable design allowed skiers to put it on at the beginning of a tour and forget about it. Heck, I even used mine this summer as a mountain bike helmet with a cap underneath. This season the ISMF (International Ski Mountaineering Federation for the non-spandex crowd) upped their standards to require helmets that are EN 12492 and EN 1077/B certified. This is essentially a fully certified alpine skiing and climbing helmet wrapped in to one. Camp was up to the task and created the new Speed Comp Helmet. The additional weight for the safety also comes with an improved head size adapter and a bungee to keep goggles in place when they are off your face.
