Antique Paper Doll "Jane" with Green Dress

I just can't resist things like this--lovingly made from the humblest of stuff, and which clearly occupied a significant space in some little girl's imagination quite long ago. And from silhouette to necklace to pursed little lips, I sure like this "Jane." Her green paper dress fits over her head to hang down front and back, and with a little care her arms can be arranged to stick out through the sleeves--as shown in the photo of her from the back, but which also works for the front. Late 19th c. or so I believe. 4 9/16" t x 1 1/4" w and in good condition. The doll is cut of lined school paper, not very brittle, with one stray mark on the doll's cheek.
