The French "Doux souvenir" translates more or less to "sweet memory" in English--and I must say a dove and lilies of peace feel like something of a sweet, increasingly distant memory indeed:( Quite nicely done, wonderful bird, pen and ink in blue and red and green, c. first decade of the 20th century I believe. 5 1/2" x 3 1/4" and in very good condition. One small crease coming in from right edge, as documented, very minor.
