Fabulous Orange Painted Antique Primitive Wooden Stool

Talk about patina! This wonderful little wooden stool shows at least 150 years of love and several layers of paint below its current (perfect) orange, topped with a thick coat of varnish or shellac. All of this adds up to one of my very favorite finds of late, a fantastic pop of color, and the perfect display pedestal for all sorts of things--though of course it's great as a stool, too!  Industructible I think--sturdy as could be, and with terrific old fat nails still showing on the top. 13 1/4" long x 6 5/8" tall and wide.
