Haitian Carved Wood Kissing Couple

I just love the intensity of this kissing couple, Haitian, and carved from one piece of wood. I especially love that the these two lovers are joined at both lips and noses--and it certainly feels like their eyes are locked on one another as well! Her body forms a base such that the carving can stand upright, while also looping up to become him, in a gesture that feels like a forever embrace. A perfect little gift for one's soulmate! 4 1/2" tall x 2 1/4" wide x 7/8" deep and carved on both sides.  Good vintage condition, with a bit of wear to the wood.
