Hand-carved Old Dark Wood Whimsy Chain - 24 Inches

A simple but very nicely done old whimsy chain, carved from one piece of wood. I have a number of carved chains in the shop, and looked at a lot more, and even if if nothing more than chain links like this one, they vary so much in character. This I can tell you is a really lovely one, which though fairly light in weight feels substantial, and a nice rectangular form to the the links, with just the right amount of irregularity, and a little rounding to the corners. Just shy of 24 inches long. Links are about 2 inches long by 1 inch wide, and about 1/4 of an inch thick. Very good condition, and definitely with some age to it.
