Hand-carved Whimsy Chain with End Hooks - 40 inches

What I especially like about this whimsy chain, carved from one piece of wood, is how small the links are--each about 1 inch long by just over 1/2" wide--which lend a sense of refinement to its rustic-ness. I also like its simplicity, just one link after another, with small hooks at either end, which allow for making a loop of it. The unfinished wood is very light in weight, and varies a bit in tone. A charming embodiment of patience and persistence, I think I'd hang this one near my desk!  39 12" long x 9/16" wide. Great vintage condition.
