Hugely Empathetic Old Jointed Wooden Elephant

To my eye a total charmer, purchased from a wonderful dealer from my neck of the woods who shares my great love for these sorts of things. For me this captures all of the awkward lunkiness of an elephant to perfection, with the just the right matte gray paint for the body, enhanced with cream for the tusk and a bit of very gesturally drawn black for the ears on both sides. LOVE.   7 3/4" x 5 3/4" t. Perhaps a bit of loss to the tail and tusk but only more charming for it. Legs and trunk do move at the pinned joints, and it will stand on its own.
