Little Wooden Box with Hand-carved Abstract Design

A funny little box, but I like it a lot. It is signed on the back by "Sue" and dated 1962. I would not say Sue was a master carver, but I like her style, with this interesting choice of shapes that allude to some sort of machine or larger system, but not quite. A curious little thing good for holding other little finds. 4 1/4" long x 3.5" deep x 1 5/8" tall. Fair condition, with some scratches and dark spots on the surface, but structurally sound and the sort of thing that one should not be precious about to begin with!
