P.A. Baker, Silver Foil and Reverse Painted Glass Nameplate with Scalloped Edge

Perhaps not everyone shares my enthusiasm for old nameplates of unknown people, but I love the idea of a vast collection of them--a community of long lost friends. A perfect vehicle for a study of styles and fonts, too. And hard to beat reverse painted black glass and silver foil with scalloped bevelled edge as far as styles go. Plus I thought just the right thing for, say, a bread-maker from Pennsylvania!  4" x 1 1/2" x 1/4" thick. Black painted tin back. Very good condition, earlyish 20th c I believe.
