Late in the season, Wright's Island can produce some nice flocks of Pintails. These beautiful flyers are famous for circling the spread many times before committing. A drake Sprig, as they are sometimes called, is one of the more beautiful and coveted species on the east coast. This painting features an empty blind (#2) on Edwards marsh looking east.
