Sam Goldbroch 207mm gyuto

207x47mm wa gyuto from Sam Goldbroch out of Chicago.  Definitely in the sturdier workhorse territory, this is a straightforward but nice looking gyuto with a really nice profile suitable for push cutting but also feels perfect in a rock chop. Unforunately I can not remember the materials and couldn’t find any record of it. I BELIEVE it is 80crv2 carbon steel, but this one is a bit of a mystery. 2 condition issues-This one has been laying around the shop for wayyyyy too long waiting to be fixed. So first it sustained a chip on the underside of the ferrule during shipping, and then at some point (can’t remember the details, but it looks like it got dragged behind a car or something. It has a lot of scratches. Please see pics. The scratches definitely could be polished out, and honestly the ferrule is a pretty easy fix, just a couple drops of white epoxy and sand and you’d be good. But repair or not, the chip is unnoticeable in hand, and scratches don’t affect cutting, so you have a solid
