Katsumi Horii, renowned as a composer, arranger, and professor at Tokyo College of Music, has left an indelible mark with his compositions and productions spanning TV, animation, commercials, film scores, and stage productions. Notably, his credits include the beloved "Doraemon" movie series (1999-2005) and music for NHK's drama series. For this inaugural album of his fusion project, he enlisted the talents of top-tier musicians. Embracing the vibe of the late 1980s, the album pulsates with an infectious urban fusion style, characterized by the lavish use of synthesizers and programmed rhythms.
