The jaws of chain nose pliers are both semi-circular and meet along the flat edge.  The width is largest near the pivot and tapers to a point at the tip.   Super fine chain nose pliers are typically used to create angled bends in wire, close bead tips, open and close jump rings and form loops.  These pliers feature tapered semicircular jaws (20.5mm long / 6.70mm to 1mm base to tip / 4.75mm to 1mm deep working area on each jaw).  Double-leaf spring hinges minimize hand effort, and the ergonomic handles have curved soft plastic grips and thumb rests to help reduce fatigue.
