This cooperative values solidarity and sustainability and also prioritizes the welfare of associates, families and communities by providing hands on technical assistance and investing in solutions to combat challenges like coffee rust. Tarrazú, Costa Rica accounts for 25% of the country's total coffee production. The coffee harvest season coincides with the region's dry season, lasting from November to March. Because of this the coffee is able to be sun-dried and has more uniformity.
