Agate Flint Crescent Necklace with Accent Stone

This Bohemian-inspired necklace includes a specimen of Agate Flint that is carved into a crescent shape with an accent stone and then formed into a bohemian style pendant using oil rubbed bronze tones and a boho style.  Each piece is slightly different with various accent stones set in metal.  18" custom plated necklace is included. Agate is a rock consisting primarily of cryptocrystalline silica, chiefly chalcedony, alternating with microgranular quartz. Agate is characterized by its fineness of grain and variety of color. Agate is a 6.5-7 on the Mohs hardness scale. Although agates may be found in various kinds of host rock, they are classically associated with volcanic rocks and can be common in certain metamorphic rocks. Metaphysically, it is believed that Agate enhances mental function, improves concentration, enhances perception, and analytical abilities.
