Colombian Blue Mist Quartz with Tiny Tabby Formation - 22g
This 22-gram Colombian blue mist quartz specimen measures 2.8" x 0.7" x 0.4" and features water-clear transparency with distinctive vertical blue wisps extending from the base approximately one-third up the crystal length. Natural Lemurian etchings are present on the crystal faces. The specimen includes a small tabby child crystal attached to the main formation, creating what collectors term a "family" or cluster configuration. In this case, there's just the one child though! The vertical orientation of the blue mist inclusions differs from the typical dispersion patterns, making this specimen unique within the collection. Harvested in 2016 from near the Cerro Peñas Blancas area of the Colombian Andes at 8,500 feet elevation, this specimen demonstrates the varied formation characteristics possible in this high-altitude quartz environment. The titanium inclusions create the blue mist effect while the main crystal maintains complete clarity above the inclusion zone.
