Inspiration for the Endings + Beginnings Series:"Created during a year of profound change, this series bridges loss and new life—saying goodbye to my two beloved sphynx cats and a hen while welcoming our son. The work reflects grief and joy, stillness and motion, guided by a deep dive into color theory and instinctive palettes: cherry red, sage green, dusty rose, deep blue. Though known for surreal portraiture, abstraction has long shaped my practice, offering rhythm, imperfection, and release. In motherhood’s new rhythm, these pieces became meditations on transition—holding space for memory, transformation, and the sacred mess of becoming."
