Tillandsia capitata red

Origins: Columbia Bloom: Short, simple inflorescence with bracts that sit below the bract scapes and produces purple tubular flowers.  Foliage blushes red during bloom and can remain red with strong light Ideal for: Indoors or Outdoors Light: Indirect or filtered light, partial direct light okay Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours.  Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary   A soft leaved variety that can hold a nice red color year round with strong light.  As it matures, that red becomes more pronounced, and in bloom the foliage turns a vibrant red.  Capitata enjoys cool air flow to avoid rotting
