Origins: Cultivar of caput medusae from an isolated region in Mexico Bloom: Short, compound inflorescence producing 4 or more oversized caput bracts ranging in color from yellow to salmon to red. Produces purple tubular flowers Light: Strong indirect or filtered light Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours. Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary. Be sure to completely dry plant if submerged in water to avoid rotting This plant is exactly as it's cultivar name advertises. Grows over 18" before a mature plant blooms, sometimes over 24".
