Tillandsia tenuifolia v amethyst

Origins: Brazil Bloom: Pink inflorescence and bracts with white flowers Light: Strong indirect light, partial direct light Ideal for: Outdoors Water: Spray or dunk once a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours.  Soak monthly to rehydrate up to 4 hours as necessary   This plant is a gorgeous deep purple (hence the name), almost turning black with a lot of light.  In shade, this plant will barely retain its gorgeous color, so a plant better suited for strong indirect to partial direct sun.  Forms nice clumps quickly with 4-5 pups each bloom.
