Tillandsia Ty (ehlersiana x bulbosa) TI clone

Origins: Manmade hybrid Bloom: Short, compound inflorescence with deep pink/reddish bracts and purple tubular flowers Ideal for: Indoors/Outdoors (better outdoors while young, needs good air flow) Light: Strong indirect and/or filtered light, some direct light okay once established/older Water: Spray or dunk twice a week, allow to dry within 6-8 hours.  Soak for up to 2 hours as necessary and thoroughly dry to rehydrate during hotter and drier months   This clone comes from Tillandsia International. This clone has a general shape more like bulbosa, but is densely covered in trichomes like the other parent ehlersiana. Influence from both parents is evident and the best qualities of each were passed on in this hybrid. In my opinion this may be the second best clone I have, after the RFI original clone
