Drill two 1/8” holes in for the legs. See line drawing for drilling holes. You will drill them about1 ½” apart and drill them at an angle. If you look at the finished photo, the legs are spread apart at thebase. They need to be at an angle to fit properly. Excelsior or any Easter grass you like to glue on base at the feet. You can even use moss. Optional of your choice: jute or rag strip to tie on top of legs next to body. I use a thin stain gaugematerial. Sponge dabbers, you can get these at Hobby lobby and sometimes Walmart. The larger one is ¾”, thesmaller one is ¼”. I used the small one for eyes. 1/8” Wood round dowels. Two 6” for each chicken Drill with 1/8’ drill bit. You will drill two holes in the bottom of each chick for legs about 1” apart.Drill one hole in the top of head for the comb (red felt) to be glued in.
