Reginella d’Abruzzo Pecorino

by Incoronata Dairy. Product of Italy. Reginella d’Abruzzo is a six month aged pecorino from the region of Abruzzo. Against the backdrop of green mountains and numerous national parks is owner Incoronata’s dairy. Her cheesemaker, Domenico, makes the cheese in a traditional, ancient way with milk from sheep that graze on these mountain pastures. The paste is semi-firm with few eyes and has a much sweeter flavor than the typical pecorinos from southern Italy that are very sharp and piquant.
