The extremely cold temperatures of the cryogenic process produce a tungsten blend that is more dense and therefore, more durable. Cryo-T tungsten can be used in the same welding applications as standard 2% thoriated tungsten. It is ideal for DC TIG welding of steel and stainless steel.
