About Wild Violet: Every year, our yard shifts from green to violet as these little blooms appear—softening the edges of the season. They’re humble but enduring, and they linger longer than most. I’ve always loved their quiet strength, but they’ve taken on a deeper meaning since our daughter, Viola, came into the world. Viola sororia. Native to eastern North America; these delicate purple blossoms often carpet lawns and forest edges in early spring, thriving quietly where they take root.
