By upholding the appropriate buffering conditions, unbound assay components and potential interfering agents can be effectively rinsed away without impeding the antigen-antibody binding reactions, thereby diminishing non-specific background noise, and enhancing the specificity of the signal. It contains a non-azide, non-mercury preservative. This buffer is aseptically filtered through a 0.2 micron filter into clean, pre-sterilized container.
