Commonly known as the Split-leaf Philodendron, or the Horsehead Philodendron, this fast growing plant is native to subtropical regions of South America, namely to Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina, and Paraguay. With its incredible, distinctive, vibrant green leaves with crinkled edges, the Philodendron Selloum is sure to bring the jungle to your interior space! Being that it's from a subtropical environment, it thrives in high humidity, warm temperatures, slightly moist soil, and loves medium to bright indirect light. Over time this plant may lose some of its lower leaves, but don’t be alarmed, this is just a natural occurrence in the plant's life cycle.
