Sophisticated and understated, these rhinestone accented candles are the perfect pick for youth or adult baptism. The larger candle is wrapped with a white braided trim and accented with a coordinating rhinestone flower. The smaller candles are decorated with organza and satin bows with a rhinestone sitting in the center. Design also available in ivory. This handmade design can be purchased as a set (one 21” lambatha and two 17” candles) or individually in both sizes. In a Greek Baptism, the godparent (“nonos” or “nona”) holds the 21” candle. The 17” candles are small enough to be easily held by children or any other participant going around the font. After the sacrament, the larger candle is lit for three consecutive Sundays when the newly baptized receives Communion. The 21” candle has a 1” diameter. 17” candles have a ¾” diameter.
