70s Girard Origins Amedabad 5 Panel

This hat is made of 70s linen fabric for the body which was hand picked by Daily Bread while in Amedabad, India. The front panel is a 1973 “Millerstripe” fabric designed by Alexander Girard for Herman Miller. Among other things, Girard was a textile designer who worked for the iconic Herman Miller design studio starting in 1952 and created timeless designs such as this Millerstripe fabric. The imported linens used in the Ahmedabad 5 panel series create a tough, high quality, lightweight hat. Leather and brass snap closure in back. Woven Quality Cottons tag on front. Made in America.
