This seasoning is earthy, sweet, and a bit smoky with a fairly mild heat that goes well with veggies, chicken, pork, beef and heartier fish like salmon or cod.   It is excellent on the grill, particularly for beef or chicken. Add it to the slow cooker with pulled pork recipes, sprinkle on baked or smoked ribs, or add it to burger meat before cooking. It's also good on vegetables!  But.... don't stop there! Add it as a part of a rice recipe, on sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, or on strongly flavored vegetables like broccoli, grilled asparagus, cabbage or brussels sprouts. Seasoning veggies, sprinkle a bit on your dish and taste in order to add more. Start small as you can always add if needed. As a rule of thumb, if using as a dry rub, use about one tablespoon of dry rub per pound of chicken or pork and 1.5 for beef.
