The all NEW Dakota series is the best built safe in its class. Dakota safes are built with Heavy 3/16" Steel (7Gauge) construction and all come standard with Dakota Safes TRU composite door. This consist of TWO FULL layers of steel in the door. The first Interior layer consist of heavy 3/16" cold rolled steel that is then stacked with fire board and topped off with an outer liner of solid 10 Gauge steel. Dakota Safes have an enhanced fire rating of 2 Hours at 1250 degrees. All of these features stacked in one complete package puts Dakota Safes in a whole new category in the Safe industry.
