Chet Atkins first album on Columbia Records was in 1983. This is it, Work It Out With Chet Atkins. Chet Atkins said he wakes up early and can't just lay around worrying about things that he thought were important so he would go to his studio and when he got there he would grab his cassette player with his favorite excercise songs put on his jogging shoes and go for a run. Atkins said it really helped clear his mind and to make room for more important things.
