These earrings are inspired by this 1789 portrait of Madame d'Aguesseau de Fresnes by Vigee le Brun. I have always loved this portrait, and especially her delightful accessories! These large, dramatic earrings measure about 2.5" long, however they are lightweight thanks to the vintage acryllic baroque-shaped pearls.
