A clear glaze was then applied to the entire exterior to make sure the nerikomi pieces were securely attached to the bowl forever. The inside was glazed with a beautiful rustic gray/blue to look both classic and also not take away from the beautiful rainbow colors on the exterior of the bowl. This truly unique piece is part of our final big bowl and platter collection of 2024. It, along with the other ceramic pieces in this creation, were created over the course of a few months.
