The Tower

Inspired by Gothic architecture along with highly ornamented traditional reliquary containers translated into my personal geometric abstracted style.  There are references to the flying buttresses, pointed arches, steeples, praying saints, and rose windows of the traditional sacred architecture.  Featured at the bottom of the piece is mandala based off of the great rose window of the Notre Dame. This sculpture is 11 layers deep and contains about 20ft of color changing LED light strip. This sculpture is made of birch ply wood that is laser cut.  The LEDS are bluetooth controlled by an app that works with both Apple or Android. Set it to any solid color, or choose from 180 different patterns for endless fun. It is 64.8 inches tall and about 16 inches wide.
