Blue Channel Catfish

ctalurus punctatus. A slender bluish-gray fish that is a good bottom scavenger. Popular aquaculture species. They are around 3 to 6" long (including the tail fin) when shipped. When young, these fish are very hardy in aquaria maintained at controlled room temperatures. As they mature, they should be moved to a pond or aquaculture setup that is at least 200 gallons.
