From Dan Hinkley by way of Guizhou, China. New leaves have a handsome reddish blush and then become dark green, shiny, and very leathery. This is a robust vine that clings by twining and by forming "adhesive" aerial rootlets. Fragrant, large (to 8 inches wide) white flowers in flat-topped clusters bloom late spring to early summer. Mature size: 30-50 ft T x 5-6 ft W  Minimum temperature: -20° F
