This sweet, modest, drought-tolerant, native wildflower is often found in the shade among the Salal, Ocean Spray, and Pacific Madrone, and in coniferous forests on rocky balds of the Western Pacific Coastal region of the US. Small white flowers on erect stems appear above a trailing mat of finely haired greenery  April-June. Look closer, these flowers are quite fancy and adorable! Can tolerate sun with intermittent water. Ground cover. Minimum temperature: 10° F Mature size: 8 in T x 12 in W, forming a trailing mat.
