Knitting 102: Reading a Pattern + More! 2 Thursdays Dec 11 and 18th 5:30-7:30pm $60

Date & Time:Thursdays, December 4 & 11 - 2 week class 5:30-7:30pm  Description & level : Advanced Beginner You know how to knit and purl, how to cast-on and bind off….now what?!  You are ready to take your knitting to the next level and learn about choosing a pattern and all that goes along with patterns - pattern language, choosing yarn, fit, size, and common mistakes.  Giddy-up, let’s get you going on to the next level and help you feel confident in choosing patterns right for your and your skill level. Session 1:  We will go over some beginner patterns, pattern lingo, yarn weights, wpi, gauge, substituting yarns, etc. You will leave with a basic understanding of how to read a pattern, some good beginner free patterns. Session 2:  Get help choosing sizing, yarn to knit the pattern of choice, and get started on knitting something with a pattern.  Learn to increase and decrease, .Go over common mistakes in reading a pattern.
