I’m Hal the Chinese Banyan Tree, native to Southeast Asia. I'm considered the beginner's bonsai for my relatively easy care and can tolerate a wide range of indoor conditions. I am also known as the Indian Laurel and Curtain Fig. I have a main trunk that divides into many branches that support a dense canopy. With enough humidity, I’ll sport aerial roots that hang from my branches. I’m comfortable grown as a houseplant, but also like nice days spent outdoors.
