Small Viking Chest

Made entirely by hand from quarter-sawn cherry, our Small Viking Chest pays homage to Scandinavian sea chests from the Middle Ages. These chests were used for storage, luggage, or furniture, depending on size. A classic 6-piece, pegged, mortise-and-tenon construction is topped with a rounded cover and latched with hand-forged iron hardware. The chest is finished with beeswax for a satin touch and beautiful low luster. Use to store small hobby tools and accessories, hold short vases with flowers on an entry table, organize cards and stationery, or corral phone chargers, cables, or keys.
