CADASIL Report
CADASILCADASIL is an acronym for Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy, a rare and complex neurological condition characterized by occlusion of cerebral arterioles, leading to stroke and disability. The pathology, in 90% of cases, is caused by mutations in the NOTCH3 gene, while the remaining cases are attributable to HTRA1.2 genes analyzed It is recommended if: This report is indicated for subjects with a family history of the disease and/or for those who show signs and symptoms attributable to it, such as recurrent ischemic episodes and migraines, dementia and psychiatric manifestations.
