Edition #37 Notes A few months ago, a Bookhead Club subscriber reached out to share a new material with me, something unique that their jobby job created. It looks like leather, behaves like leather, smells fragrant, is plant-based, and unlike other leather alternatives it's entirely plastic free. This material is called Mirum, and the moment I received a sample in the mail I was enchanted and knew it had to become the cover for the next edition. Discovering Mirum coincided perfectly with the celebration of six years of Dapper Notes, the brand redesign, and an introduction of new paper packaging. The cover design features the new Dapper Notes logo on one side, and the mascot on the other, screenprinted with Dylan Goldberger at his Dog Gone Studio in Brooklyn. This edition carries the renewed focus on where Dapper Notes are made, with a painting of a local landmark on the endsheets, illustrated by yours truly.
