Dreams

Edition #38 Notes I first met Layne Ewing when she created a design for the Goodtype Tuesday challenge, where she was [not surprisingly] one of the top three winners. Following Layne's work has been a delight, and I am so excited we got to collaborate on the final piece of her Greta Van Fleet collection: illustrations inspired by the music of that band. For this edition, Layne painted a variety of patterns onto the cover fabric using gold ink and a dry brush. I then screenprinted the design in black ink, and we picked an endsheet pattern with galaxies and the night sky, also screenprinted in gold. Apropos since the name of Layne's art for this edition is "Dreams in Gold". We hope this notebook inspires you to dream big. If you can dream it, you can do it.
