Hamsa
Edition #31 Notes To celebrate five years of Dapper Notes, I revisited the most popular cover material of all time. My very first notebooks released in 2016 were made using a simple but beautiful cork cover. The new Hamsa edition also has a cork cover, but with a sparkly bronze foil imprint, a perfect homage to five years of creating stationery that leaves my heart sparkling. The word hamsa means "five" in Arabic. In North African cultures it is also associated with good luck and protection. The hamsa (pictured) is a common motif in North African and Middle-Eastern art. I come from a Moroccan lineage, so the symbol is very meaningful to me, and I wanted to share the luck that I feel Dapper Notes has brought me with all of you. I hope that Hamsa brings you as much joy and good luck as I have felt making Dapper Notes for you the past five years. Here's to many more.
