Ten Year Rebound
Every edition of notebooks that I make leaves traces behind. Smaller scraps get recycled, medium scraps get saved and sent to artists for upcycling, and bigger scraps get saved for…well for the longest time they were just being saved for no specific purpose. That is until today. I have taken the fabric leftovers from every edition I made in the past ten years that left some scraps behind, and turned them into a batch of notebooks I’m calling the Ten Year Rebound. As in both “looking back” and also “re-binding”. It’s a solid double entedre and I apologize for feeling I have to explain it. But I digress. I finally did what so many people have asked me throughout the past decade and MADE OLD EDITIONS AGAIN. Sorta. These notebooks are not identical to the originals: In most instances only the cover fabric is the same, and is bound to a different bookcloth with a different endsheet and different thread.
